Full Disclosure - Owners, Former Owners, and Prospective Buyers:
Public Service Announcement: Fraud Alert - Homeowners' rights are not recognized in Port Moody.
Reports of financial fraud, violations of homeowners' data privacy, failure to disclose since 2010, repeated stalking of homeowners, and Human Rights Abuses by council members, undocumented "corporate reps" and StrataCo Property Management of Burnaby BC.
Other violations include; undisclosed conflicts of interest, and an estimated $4-5 million of owners' funds are unaccounted for since 2010.
This Corporation uses unsound business practices including repeated criminal acts. There exists no contract between the owners and the managers, StrataCo - this is unheard of in legitimate business circles.
Another red flag involves the owners' funds flowing into StrataCo's bank account, instead of Corbeau's own which was the original design until 2010. The funds disappear with no follow-up questions allowed. Council has used shady quorum claims to pass questionable levies several times.
Treasurer Angela Ho refuses to answer owners' requests or complaints, refuses to release corporate documentation/evidence - as have all previous treasurers. Ms. Angela Ho is incommunicado since joining council.
Corporation records indicate she resides at unit 58 on the property. It is unclear if she is an owner at this site, or if she is a proxy for another individual. Ho ensures the abusers are paid well to defraud the owners of the corporation.
Longtime council president Kathleen Thomson has been incommunicado since 2010. She uses the pretence of "volunteer" to take advantage and serially abuse her neighbours, including refusal to stop stalking the residents, disclosures of owners' personal information and accessory to extortion. Thomson also refuses to release corporate records.
Apparently, there is an undisclosed conflict-of-interest; Thomson is related to the owner of StrataCo Property Management, Allan Grandy. That has put her in a constant state of undisclosed conflict-of-interest since 2010 - another disturbing feature for a community housing corporation.
Corbeau corporation records show Ms Thomson resides at unit 25 on the property. It's unclear if she is an owner or proxy.
Current: Abuses are ongoing. Some owners are assigned "non-status" aka without rights. Complaints not allowed. Large-dollar roofing project with suspect suitability in progress. No audits ever. No financial disclosures ever.
Conclusion: Suspected Massive Fraud. This Corporation severely lacks accountability. Corbeau is an active and ongoing crime scene. It appears this Corporation has normalized criminal acts, abuse of its ownership group, and fraud.
Various members of council are suspected of embezzling funds since 2010. All members are aware of the fraud claims, each is actively covering up the crimes.
